In partnership with the Southern Universities Network (SUN), The Isle Of Wight College is hosting ‘Never Too Late’, a local Higher Education (HE) information day on Friday 16 August for students still looking for a HE destination after results day.

Running from 10am-2pm, The Isle of Wight College will be joined by their CECAMM campus, and other local providers UKSA and Solent University, for visitors to drop in and see the HE programmes still available locally including HNCs, HNDs, and foundation and undergraduate degrees.

Aimed at students from across the Isle of Wight, this event is for anyone who has finished college or sixth form this summer, and either going through the clearing process after receiving results different from their predicted grades, or those who have changed their minds about where or what they want to study. It’s also open for those who yet to make an application for continuing their studies after college or sixth form and looking to secure a place in September. Friends and family are also welcome to come along and support in the decision making process.

The clearing process can be overwhelming, but it is not as complicated as you may think and information, advice and guidance will be available on the day from Catherine Jackson, the college’s own highly qualified careers advisor. Should you wish to pursue a different option, the Isle of Wight College Apprenticeships team will also be on hand to provide information about local apprenticeship opportunities.

  • Superyacht Hospitality training
  • Superyacht Crew Training
  • Professional Yachtmaster Offshore/Coastal
  • Watersports instructor training

See you there

On arrival you will need to report to the main reception where you will be directed to the College’s Conference Suite, situated in L Block. There is plenty of free parking available on site, or if you’re travelling by bus the number one stops just a few minutes’ walk from the campus.
