A six week introduction to the basic concepts in- volved in manual machining on a Thursday evening from 17:30-19:30 covering the main aspects involved in modern day machining.
Will enable the candidate to gain a basic understanding of the principles behind manual machining. The learner will acquire an understanding of the health and safety aspects involved within the use of manual Lathes and Mills in the manufacturing industry.
You will be able to gain an understanding of how to operate basic functions in order to generate simple components from a range of materials whilst using varied tools and operations across both Lathes and Milling machine
Throughout the six week course we will cover and look into many aspects, for which the below list isn’t exclusive and may vary depending on individuals prior knowledge/skills set.
