- Current college students should have an attendance above 88%
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is designed for, and targeted at those already working in industry wanting to develop their skills in a specific subject area, developing knowledge and skills in Bridal hair styling. This course enables CPD (continued professional development) as well as providing progression opportunities and advancement of technical skills.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Applicants will further develop underlying principals and practical skills already learned gaining more knowledge of bridal styles for women. Knowledge gained will also include, use of ornamentation, selection and use of products and equipment incorporating health, safety and hygiene procedures.
HOW WILL I LEARN?
The programme incorporates demonstration and student participation in a realistic working environment. Within the programme, students receive full support in their skill development and acquisition of competence. Students will be assessed through practical observation of skills and questioning. Assessments will be carried out on a model basis.
WHAT CAN THE COURSE LEAD TO?
This course is designed to deliver occupational capability and provide a sound platform with which to enter employment or further learning and training. Successful students will be able to find outlets for their skills in salons or self employed.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL I GET?
