Construction

Everywhere you look, people are building. Construction careers are cool. The demand is high. The wages are great and you can earn while you learn. If you think it's all about hammering nails and pouring cement, think again. Construction is a £130-billion industry that accounts for more than 12% of UK's economy. * Whether you're a skilled construction worker or manager you can earn up to six figures annually. The Isle of Wight College offers courses in Brickwork, Electrical, Painting and Decorating, Plumbing and Wood Occupations.

Students 16-18

If you are 16 and under 19 years of age on 1stSeptember in the year you begin your studies your tuition and qualification fee is free, provided you are a resident of the UK or European Community for three years (not on a student visa).

Students 19+

If you are aged 19 or over on 1 September in the year you begin your studies you are responsible for the payment of tuition, qualification fees and course expenses.
