Do you have a site where former college students could possibly get in touch with each other? As I am trying to find some of my old friends from college.
A new, more user-friendly alumni section is planned to launch shortly. Please check the back in a couple of months time.

I am unsure which course I should go for, can I get careers advice at College?
If you are aged 13 - 19 you can get information, advice and guidance from Connexions. Connexions staff are available in high schools, their Newport office and at College. If you are aged 20 and over Nextstep provides free and impartial information advice and guidance. Career guidance appointments can be arranged at College, contact Student Services for help with arranging an appointment.
Can I receive financial support for my study fees?
If you are a British Citizen, 16 and under 19 years of age on 01 September in the year you begin your studies your tuition and qualification fee is free, provided you are a resident of the UK or European Community. Many courses do, however, have additional costs for materials, clothing equipment and visits which students must pay for. To assist with these additional costs you may apply for an Education Maintenance Allowance of up to £30 per week.
There are also discretionary learner support funds for students from low-income families. Students aged 19+ are responsible for payment of tuition, examination and course expenses although there are exemptions for those in receipt of income-based benefits or Working Tax Credit. There are also Adult Learner Grants and discretionary learner support funds available. Please contact Student Services to check your eligibility.
