The Isle of Wight College was established in 1951, initially offering courses in construction and engineering. It is now a General FE College with a broad curriculum that reflects the needs of the Island community.

The college offers a programme for local secondary school students aged 14-16 studying in years 10 and 11. Courses are offered in areas such as engineering, hair and beauty, construction and animal care.
