The Cookery School @ The Isle of Wight College is a brand new facility at The Isle of Wight College open to enthusiastic cooks of all ages and abilities. Our new cookery school offers you the opportunity to learn to cook from scratch, or improve your current level of cookery skills. Whether you are a complete novice or want to take your skills up to a higher level, we think that you will find a course to meet your area of interest.
The Isle of Wight College is rated as ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted) and is a Beacon College, so we are confident that the training you will receive will be of the highest standard. Our chef trainers are all professional chefs with extensive and varied experience cooking in hotels, restaurants or on superyachts. Most are trained NVQ Assessors with many years’ experience between them. Our Cookery School team are particularly keen to encourage ‘Juniors’ & ‘Teenagers’ to start experiencing the enjoyment of cooking in our fabulous purpose built kitchen (our kitchen also has a customised cooking station for wheelchair users).
