Insights Foundation Learning

These courses are specially designed to help young people aged 16-18 (19 in some cases) who lack formal qualifications to get ahead. They provide a more rewarding experience for young people at entry level and level 1. There are no specific entry requirements but a college interview and initial assessment will help determine if this is the right way for you.
These Foundation Learning, Access2 courses cover English, Maths and I.T. plus personal development (interview skills, etc). Choose from:
- Business
- Computing
- Construction
- Community Sports Leader
Start dates throughout the year. Assistance with travel costs may be available.
WHAT DO THESE COURSES LEAD TO?
You could go on to Level 1 or Level 2 courses, an apprenticeship or employment. You will be asked what you want to do next at your initial interview so your course can be tailored to suit you.
