The fast-moving world of hospitality and catering is as rewarding as it is hectic, and develops many skills, from creativity to leadership and management.
The Isle of Wight College offers an exciting opportunity to enter the fast-moving world of the catering industry.
There is a formal introduction to food preparation and service, and food hygiene, whilst students are based at The College working in our busy modern restaurant.
Busy environments require flexible people with good communication, leadership and management skills. For work experience there are many outside functions and events during the year such as: Ascot Racing and Tatton Park Flower Show, British Bird Fayre and various events around the Island including weddings.
