There is a national and international shortage of qualified football coaches, and so the Football Coaching Academy may open the door to an exciting career in this global industry.
The College has partnered with AFC Bournemouth and formed the Football Coaching Academy to offer the highest standards of football coaching development to students on the Island. Programmes range from Level 1 to Level 3, with the potential for students to progress onto Foundation degrees in Sport and beyond.
All Football Coaching programmes at the Academy include qualifications recognized in the Qualifications and Credits Framework, plus industry qualifications including the FA Coaching Certificates, FA Emergency 1st Aid, and FA Safeguarding Children in Sport.
In addition to the academic programmes, students will be encouraged to join AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust as volunteer community coaches, to gain practical experience alongside their studies.
